Summary: We were thrilled by the private serenity of this lovely, roomy cabin surrounded by woods and water. It's not too far from the Portland airport and it's easy to get into the town of Ridgefield or take day trips into Portland, Mt St. Helens, Mt. Hood or to many other great hiking areas and small towns.The cabin itself has almost everything you could need to have a very comfortable and enjoyable visit, either indoors or outside on the private lake and grounds. The owner could not have been more helpful and congenial in helping us settle in and help was just a phone call away if we had needed it. This is probably the best rental property we've ever had the privilege to visit and would stay again if we have the opportunity.
